Gathering
Both aperture and angle removed Paris which would have appeared in the background in this shot.
I will post about Paris in the future.

Sand and snow
On a day where the beach was covered of snow.
End of a season
Silent winter
I absolutely love the sound of snow.... if you listen you will hear it :) ... I also imagine that snow must be a problem to people who rely only/mostly on sounds around them. Snow gives you a minimalist visual and audible scenery.
Sound of winter
"Johnny" ... again :) (see previous posts)
Winter light
Shot in The New Forest, Hampshire. I have done a fair amount of walking and photography in the New Forest over the past 10 years, I actually find it quite "gloomy", I was going to use the word "morbid", in some ways, due to it's very flat landscape, it's dull-
Nowadays, the heathland is maintained by grazing animals and controlled burning, hence morbid :)) Still, around September/October the landscape can turn golden with yellow/brown and silver reflecting the light creating a near "African landscape".

Un hiver
I am mostly a handheld photographer using natural light. Always inspired by winter's low light.
